WHY STORYTELLING MATTERS

Storytelling is at the root of everything we do.

A good story holds your attention and changes how you think.

We believe this ancient art is more important now than ever before. The ability to hold the attention of a room and speak with clarity and confidence is a skill that future employers value immeasurably.

In an age of information overload and shortening attention spans, these communication skills are becoming increasingly rare both in an academic context and in the workplace.

Whether you’re a student, a doctor, an engineer or a parent - storytelling is an essential part of your makeup.

It’s what makes us human.

The Science Of Learning

The importance of learning through fun is finally getting the attention it deserves in the academic world, with a wealth of neuroscientific research on the subject. Not only does it make the topic more relatable, memorable and enjoyable - the brain actually processes the information in a different way.

Our approach is firmly rooted in science, and the results speak for themselves. We don’t tell our students what to think, we teach them how to think for themselves; how to question, how to make connections between different texts, how to approach a challenge.

Our methods take our experience in performance and the arts and apply them to traditionally academic subjects. This builds confidence, self-belief and helps to turn a subject which ‘you need to do for an exam’ into a lifelong skill.

You can read more about the science of learning on our blog.
